Which features does API Developer Portal currently support?

  • It enables the API Consumers, to get the list & documentation of the APIs, published by DKV for Enterprise customers.

  • However the API Access must be separated request by contacting your DKV Sales representative.

  • After API Access has been granted (necessary credentials), the API consumers can also test various APIs on the developer Portal, using the credentials provided.

  • The Development team can also get code snippets in different Application development languages for consuming the APIs.

Is using the API services free?

It depends on the API. Some APIs can be used freely up to a maximum call volume. Other APIs require specific approval by the API Management team. For details please check here.

How can I receive support regarding the developer portal?

How can I test an API?

Upon being signed into the developer portal you can find the products containing APIs here.
By subscribing to a product you receive the subscription keys and are able to test the APIs by clicking on the “Try It” button on the API details page.

Which API types are being support?

We currently support REST and SOAP APIs.

In which description languages / formats can API specifications be provided?

REST API specifications can be provided in YAML, JSON and WADL (XML).

SOAP API specifications can be provided in YAML, JSON, WADL (XML) and WSDL (XML).

Which authentication methods are supported?

Authentication is currently being defined on an API level.
